We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources Business Partners to join our team at Baxter Shared Services. As a key member of our HR leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our store General Managers and other leadership teams to drive business outcomes through effective talent, culture, and leadership practices.
Key Responsibilities- Function as the primary HR Leadership Partner to store General Managers and other store leadership teams to ensure strong business outcomes.
- Internal people management coaching for store leadership teams.
- Develop future leadership talent for current store succession and future store growth.
- Utilize employee experience pulse surveying data and insights to enable the exceptional execution of the Baxter Employee Experience Model within assigned stores.
- Lead the employment practices team, including policy and handbook updates, associated management training, and strong execution of employment-related processes within stores.
- Effectively handle employee relations issues.
- Lead group-wide talent acquisition positions and provide direction, coaching, and support to store-based talent acquisition roles.
- Implement the group multi-channel leadership development model within stores.
- Effectively implement diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging strategies.
- Knowledge of modern, innovative HR models, tools, practices, platforms, and approaches.
- Ability to lead and develop a strong HR team and be an effective member of the HR Leadership team.
- Knowledge of EEO and ERISA laws and regulations.
- 10+ years of business operational and/or HR leadership experience, especially with executive-level leadership.
- Ability to interact and engage with all levels of roles within stores and senior-level executives.
- Positive approach and team-first mindset.
- Forward-thinking, progressive, and dynamic, with a focus on continuous improvement and individual and team growth and development.
- Curiosity, agility, and a desire to embrace new experiences.
- Strong communication skills, including a welcoming approach, good listening skills, and empathy.
