**Job Summary**

Grown Folks Social Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development: Create and implement new menu items, specials, and seasonal offerings that showcase our commitment to quality and innovation.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of cooks, sous chefs, and other kitchen staff to ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks, manage food costs, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Supply Chain Management: Source high-quality ingredients, manage relationships with distributors, and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and coaching to kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Menu Engineering: Analyze menu sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform menu decisions and drive business growth.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Special Events: Plan and execute special events, such as catering, banquets, and themed dinners, to showcase our culinary expertise.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Culinary Director in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of menu development, inventory management, and staff leadership.
  • Excellent culinary skills, including cooking, plating, and presentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
