Job Summary

As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our business leaders and teams, driving employee relations and development programs, and ensuring compliance with HR regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations and Development: Direct employee relations and human resource development programs for HR, Legal, Communications, and External Relations, including recruitment and retention, staffing and orientation, employee relations, project management, training and development, and assisting in the coordination of human resource planning programs.
  • Business Partnership: Provide daily business HR partnership and consultation for assigned functional teams, providing coaching and advice to management on ways to administer HR programs and manage employee issues.
  • Program Implementation: Help implement approved employee relations' practices, providing professional and technical assistance to functional leadership, and lead the overall organization of Human Resource programs within the assigned team.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Partner with HR peers, HR centers of excellence, and other business departments to ensure compliance with HR regulations, including EEO, unemployment, litigation, retention, termination, and turnover.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Build ad hoc reporting, conduct analysis, and draw conclusions that aid in making sound decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid Human Resource generalist experience.
  • Certifications: PHR/SHRM-CP or advanced degree a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of ERISA, EEOC, and DOL regulations, employment sourcing, communications, human relations, and management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with benefits and compensation administration, market pricing, labor law, and organizational development, as well as experience managing multiple projects and using HRIS applications.
