Position Summary

We are in search of a motivated and experienced professional for the role of Specialty Territory Sales Executive. In this pivotal position, you will represent Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) to our valued customers, driving sales performance and fostering strong relationships within your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be to meet and surpass sales targets while expanding market presence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the designated territory.
  • Building and nurturing impactful business relationships through your clinical knowledge and market insights.
  • Enhancing market share by securing new business opportunities in both existing and potential accounts.
  • Supporting sales outcomes with a high level of clinical knowledge and a strategic approach to the evolving healthcare environment.
  • Evaluating and interpreting product and competitor trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure transparent communication.
  • Traveling as necessary within the territory, including potential overnight stays for meetings and events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales with a strong understanding of product and disease state.
  • A consistent record of high sales performance.
  • Preferred experience in Urology and familiarity with pharmaceutical product launches.
  • Knowledge of market access and formulary strategies.
