Job Summary:
Grainger is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Representative to join our team. As a Sales Account Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Determine and present the appropriate Grainger Value Proposition to each account, review how Grainger can add value, and help with each account's purchasing needs.
- Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Create a territory plan that optimizes call routes, maximizes time in the field, and ensures delivery of a sales plan that meets performance targets.
- Drive Sales Growth: Take a proactive approach to increasing sales with each account, using a wide array of available communication channels to maximize purchasing with Grainger through all sales/service channels.
- Meet Performance Targets: Grow revenue to reported thresholds, achieve or exceed shared metrics of daily calls, customer face time minutes, and report accurate information on overall results of customer interactions.
- Identify Opportunities and Negotiate Sales: Identify opportunities, negotiate sales, manage needs and cost requirements, and report to the Field Sales Manager.
Requirements:
- 1-2 Years of Sales Experience: High school diploma or GED, two or four-year degree, and a valid driver's license.
- Travel and Occasional Overnights: Ability to travel and have occasional overnights (dependent on territory).
