The Role

As a Territory Manager for TAVI at Abbott, you will be instrumental in driving sales and clinical objectives for the Structural Heart TAVI division within your designated territory. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, your contributions will have a direct impact on patient outcomes by ensuring the success of commercial accounts and trial sites.

  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director to identify and leverage account opportunities to meet sales goals.
  • Work in tandem with Clinical Sales Specialists and the regional Clinical Lead Specialist to coordinate daily operations in the territory.
  • Develop customer-centric sales and clinical strategies to support TAVI program objectives.
  • Create actionable sales and account plans utilizing clinical insights and data analytics to enhance competitiveness.
  • Effectively use sales tools and programs to manage the sales process.
  • Provide support during TAVI procedures, emphasizing patient safety and optimal product utilization.
  • Assist in pre-case planning by assessing patient anatomy and delivering sizing reports.
  • Establish strong customer relationships and collaborate with internal hospital departments to drive future sales.
  • Stay informed with product training and maintain clinical expertise to maximize performance.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings and events to enhance product knowledge and customer support.
  • Deliver on-site training and in-services to ensure proper product application.
  • Manage account consignment and execute quarterly action plans effectively.
  • Complete vendor credentialing processes for hospital access as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive experience in cardiovascular sales with a focus on Structural Heart or related fields.
  • Demonstrated clinical competence and understanding of severe aortic stenosis.
  • Strong sales performance, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
  • Compliance with vendor credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in TAVI industry sales.
  • Knowledge of CT/TTE/TEE/Angiography imaging.
