About the Role

Hermès is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and excellence in our Point Of Sale and Magasin Hermes in Travel Retail.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to ensure the excellence of our brand image in Travel Retail, including the permanent image of Hermes in all types of distribution.
  • Anticipate and implement Visual Merchandising guidelines, including order and set up of visuals, POSM, planogram, and definition of stock needs per store.
  • Prepare and implement store openings or refits, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Ensure the excellence of animation in POS, outside, or at counter, following trade plan recommendations.
Team Management
  • Lead and motivate a team of Beauty Consultants, defining their skills and training needs to meet business objectives.
  • Recruit Beauty Consultants who embody the Hermès values and team spirit.
  • Train, integrate, and empower Beauty Consultants to deliver exceptional customer service.
Training and Development
  • Train and convey the Hermès brand excitement to all sales teams, ensuring a consistent customer experience.
  • Learn and integrate international training modules, collaborating with international trainers to deliver local training to sales staff.
  • Identify training needs and develop local training programs with store managers, ensuring sales staff are equipped to meet customer needs.
Operations Management
  • Verify customer orders in coordination with the Area Manager, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Manage POSM orders, ensuring all necessary materials are in stock.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team in France and customers, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Manage expenses and budget related to Travel Retail activity, ensuring financial discipline.
Requirements
  • First experience in commerce or retail, with a passion for fragrances and the Hermès Universe.
  • Strong people and service orientation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and able to initiate and propose ideas, with strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Fluent English and French language skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
