The People Experience Team is dedicated to enhancing experiences that unlock the full potential of our workforce. Within this team, HR Connect serves as a vital pillar, primarily aimed at fostering employee success.

The Senior Manager of HR Connect will take charge of our Performance Advisors, who play a crucial role in ensuring fairness and consistency in performance management practices across the organization. They are tasked with providing comprehensive coaching and guidance to managers regarding performance, conduct, and attendance matters across various regions.

In this pivotal leadership position, the Senior Manager will work closely with the HRC Director to promote ongoing enhancements in manager capability and accountability, particularly in addressing situations where employee performance may not meet expectations. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding leadership abilities and a proven history of success in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business strategies into actionable people priorities and initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all performance-related issues are managed in a fair, equitable, and timely manner.
  • Collaborate in the creation of training programs and support systems for managers to effectively oversee employee performance at scale.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with HRC, PXT leadership, HRBP's COEs, and other essential stakeholders to share insights, maintain effective communication, and create scalable solutions that enhance employee and manager experiences.
  • Analyze and interpret critical employee data to derive insights and present recommendations that inform decision-making.
  • Work with PXT partners, legal counsel, and senior leadership to resolve complex or sensitive performance-related issues.
  • Propose innovative approaches and strategies to drive continuous improvement in efficiency and operational best practices, leveraging automation and digital solutions.
  • Establish and maintain operational excellence in case management practices, including governance for playbooks, protocols, and requirements for documentation and reporting.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a high-performing team of Performance Advisors.
  • Contribute to various programs, projects, and broader People & Places priorities or PXT initiatives.
  • Engage in the development and refinement of HR policies and practices.
  • Stay informed about employment laws, regulations, and industry trends related to performance management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Employee Relations or Performance Management, including 3-5 years in a leadership role within HR.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a demonstrated ability to set a compelling vision and execution plan.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to address a variety of complex issues.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to easily establish human connections, demonstrating deep emotional intelligence and objective empathy.
  • People Champion: Designs and implements improvements to enhance P&P customer benefits.
  • Business Accelerator: Implements changes that support Intuit's strategic goals while remaining agile and resilient to external factors.
