Position Overview

The Senior Human Resources Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that the HR executive remains informed and aligned on key issues and topics that require cross-departmental collaboration and decision-making. This position is responsible for overseeing the department's budget, performance metrics, and strategic objectives. Additionally, the advisor manages vendor agreements to guarantee that established measures and outcomes are achieved. The role encompasses leading and managing various initiatives and projects to align with the overarching goals and strategies of the HR department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) by enabling prioritization and influence across all organizational levels and departments.
  • Comprehending the leader's vision and intent, guiding other leaders to drive and monitor their goals and priorities.
  • Addressing and resolving issues through escalation, clearly articulating necessary actions to enhance team accountability.
  • Cultivating relationships within both direct and extended team members to serve as a knowledgeable and supportive sounding board and strategic partner.
  • Leading special projects independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Providing support for interactions with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and collaborative partners.
  • Facilitating effective communication between the executive office and other departments, in partnership with the leadership team, to ensure smooth information flow.
  • Offering analysis and recommendations to the HR leadership team regarding critical issues and opportunities impacting the organization.
  • Acting as a liaison between the Chief Human Resources Officer and other senior leaders to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and briefings for the Chief Human Resources Officer.
  • Promoting a culture of transparency and continuous improvement within the HR team.
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to HR team members, encouraging professional growth and development.
  • Coordinating team meetings, retreats, and other activities to enhance team cohesion and performance.
  • Ensuring alignment of team efforts with overall HR objectives.
  • Undertaking special projects and assignments as directed.
  • Analyzing data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Staying informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in human resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in human resources, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity, with a preference for consulting experience.
  • Proven expertise in strategic planning, project management, and operational execution.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software and tools.

Compensation:

$119.51 USD per hour
