The People Experience Team is dedicated to creating experiences that unlock the full potential of our workforce. HR Connect serves as one of the four essential pillars within this team, focusing primarily on empowering employee success.

The Senior Manager of HR Connect will lead our Performance Advisors, who play a crucial role in ensuring uniformity and fairness in Intuit's performance management processes. They offer coaching and support to managers regarding performance, conduct, and attendance-related issues across various regions.

In this pivotal leadership position within HR Connect, the Senior Manager will collaborate closely with the HRC Director to foster ongoing enhancements in manager capability and accountability, particularly in addressing situations where employee performance does not meet expectations. The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding leadership qualities and a proven history of success in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Employee Relations or Performance Management, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within HR.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities, with experience in crafting a compelling vision, strategy, and execution plan.
  • Strong analytical skills, adept at resolving a diverse range of complex issues.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to forge strong interpersonal connections, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and objective empathy.

Core Responsibilities

  • People Champion: Design, develop, and implement enhancements that improve the delivery of our P&P customer benefits.
  • Business Accelerator: Implement strategies that propel Intuit's objectives while remaining agile and resilient to external influences.
  • Data Driven: Analyze data to generate actionable insights that guide decision-making.
  • Change Leader: Identify key stakeholders, maintain communication on progress, and hold them accountable while recommending solutions to mitigate risks.

Leadership Approach

  • Translate business strategies into people-focused priorities and initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure equitable and timely handling of all performance-related matters across the team.
  • Co-create training and resources for managers to effectively manage employee performance at scale.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with HRC, PXT leadership, HRBPs, COEs, and other stakeholders to share insights, maintain effective communication, and develop scalable solutions.
  • Analyze and interpret key employee data to derive insights and present recommendations that influence decision-making.
  • Collaborate with PXT partners, legal advisors, and senior leadership to address complex or sensitive performance issues.
  • Propose innovative approaches and strategies to enhance efficiency and operational best practices, including automation and digital solutions.
  • Establish and maintain operational excellence in case management practices, including governance for playbooks, protocols, and accurate reporting.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a high-performing team of Performance Advisors.
  • Contribute to programs, projects, and broader People & Places priorities and/or PXT initiatives.
  • Participate in the development and refinement of HR policies and practices, staying informed on employment laws and industry trends related to performance management.
