We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Assistant General Counsel, HR Legal to join our team at Intuit. As a key member of our HR Legal team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our employment strategy, programs, and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Workforce Compliance: Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with global workforce laws and regulations, from issue identification to policy development and operations.
  • Partner with Senior Leaders: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop strategic workforce initiatives, provide business-focused guidance, and analyze current international support models.
  • Build Trusted Partnerships: Establish and maintain trusted partnerships with HR centers of excellence, providing clear, data-driven insights to address concerns and drive best outcomes.
  • Develop and Execute Priorities: Develop and execute priorities and initiatives for the broader legal, compliance, and policy organization, including new challenges presented by the external environment.
  • Provide Strategic Advice: Provide strategic advice on complex global workforce issues, including employment litigation, pay equity, complex exits, wage and hour compliance, and more.
  • Lead Change and Innovation: Lead change and innovation initiatives, driving strategic outcomes with minimal supervision and effectively communicating with business partners about legal obligations and risk management.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience primarily advising technology companies on complex global workforce issues, including in-house experience.
  • Deep employment litigation experience, including international matters.
  • Significant experience navigating a wide range of complex employment law issues at a global scale.
  • JD and membership in good standing with at least one US State Bar (preferably CA).
  • Strong personal ethical code and integrity, deep respect for privacy and confidentiality, and alignment with our Legal, Compliance, and Policy Organization ethos.
