Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Elevance Health. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide critical support to our department, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Key Responsibilities- Communication and Coordination: Make and receive phone calls to exchange information and accomplish tasks.
- Document Management: Routinely file work, reports, and other documents in case files and designated areas.
- Organization and Preparation: Sort, label, and alphabetize documents/files for others to execute work efforts.
- Data Entry and Processing: Extract, sort, prepare, batch, and route documents within the company as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate camera/scanner and retrieve previously scanned information as needed.
- Administrative Support: Copy incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Claims Processing: Ensure rejected claims were denied correctly or determine if those claims should be matched to a member.
- System Navigation: Navigate proprietary software systems to locate member information.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST information security requirements to protect client information.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED and related work experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Technical Skills: Experience in operating basic equipment required.
- Professional Competencies: Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
