This position offers flexibility with options for telecommuting, a hybrid work schedule, or in-office work. The selected candidate will coordinate telework arrangements with their supervisor and is expected to be present in the office once a month.
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Program Coordinator oversees the statewide Bicycle and Pedestrian Count Program managed by the Office of Transit and Active Transportation (OTAT). This role involves ensuring that the Count Program is effectively developed and aligned with the established statewide goals, objectives, policies, and procedures related to bicycle and pedestrian transportation. The coordinator will also be responsible for establishing, managing, and analyzing performance measures to identify successes and areas for improvement. The development and application of these performance measures will support the agency's objectives for promoting active transportation throughout Minnesota.
*This position requires 25% in-state travel for the installation, removal, and maintenance of counting equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of advanced professional experience in managing statewide programs.
Experience must also demonstrate the following:
- Proficiency in data collection and evaluation methodologies, as well as planning processes.
- Experience with data analysis and management systems.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Administration, Planning, Public Health, Geography, Business, or Finance may substitute for six months of advanced professional experience.
