ROLE SUMMARY: This position is responsible for administering a variety of human resources functions and processes for all personnel within the organization. The HR Business Partner will engage in the development of HR objectives, strategies, and systems while recommending innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to enhance the efficiency of the department and the services provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as the primary contact for employees regarding HR-related questions and concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and leadership team to assess workforce requirements for designated business units.
  • Manage the complete talent acquisition lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending job offers.
  • Ensure all pre-employment procedures for new hires are fulfilled, including background checks, drug screenings, and verification of qualifications.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees and facilitate orientation sessions.
  • Administer Family and Medical Leave requests, monitoring employee leave status and communicating outcomes.
  • Serve as the payroll and attendance administrator, acting as the liaison with the corporate payroll team.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor regulations.
  • Lead employee relations initiatives and HR projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders and managers in resolving employee relations matters and performance management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; an Associate degree is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in human resources is necessary.
  • Proven experience with HRIS systems is essential.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations is required.
  • Experience in long-term care or healthcare settings is preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS:
  • HR certification is preferred.
