Job Id: # of Openings: 1 Overview: Exceptional Living Centers is actively seeking a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner.
ROLE SUMMARY: This position is responsible for administering a variety of human resources processes and procedures for all personnel within the organization. The HR Business Partner will engage in the development of HR objectives, strategies, and systems, while also recommending innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to enhance the efficiency of the department and services provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The individual must be capable of performing each essential duty effectively. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill the essential functions. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborating with the Executive Director and leadership team to assess workforce requirements for designated business units.
  • Conducting comprehensive talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending employment offers.
  • Overseeing all pre-employment procedures for new hires, ensuring compliance with background checks, drug screenings, and verification of credentials.
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new employees and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Managing Family and Medical Leave administration, including responding to leave requests and monitoring employee status.
  • Serving as the payroll and time/attendance administrator for the facility, acting as the liaison to the corporate payroll team.
  • Updating and maintaining employee information within the HRIS.
  • Being the first point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.
  • Ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.
  • Leading employee relations initiatives and HR projects.
  • Providing support and coaching to leaders and managers in resolving employee relations matters and offering guidance on performance management.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; an Associate degree is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in human resources is required.
  • Proven experience utilizing an HRIS system.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in long-term care or healthcare settings is preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS:
  • HR certification is preferred.
