Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources professional to join our team at DelDOT as a State Human Resource Administrator. This is a key role that will be responsible for managing the Talent Acquisition unit and developing strategies to source and build diverse talent pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Manage the administration of the online hiring system and maintain recruitment programs
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Talent Acquisition team and develop policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with community partners and advertisers to market employment opportunities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to employees and management on human resource-related matters
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with state and federal laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform human resource decisions and develop reports
  • Participate in meetings and presentations to communicate human resource information
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Four years of professional human resource experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three years of experience in providing subject matter expertise and developing human resource policies and procedures
  • One year of experience in human resource management and operations management
  • One year of experience in strategic planning and analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Statewide Human Resource Certification or professional human resource certification
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
