Position Overview:
As a Territory Sales Consultant, you will serve as a key liaison between food service clients and GFS Canada Company Inc. Your primary focus will be on fostering growth within existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities. You will represent the diverse range of products and services offered by GFS Canada Company Inc. within your designated territory, nurturing customer relationships to drive success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee customer orders efficiently.
- Identify and acquire new clientele.
- Strengthen relationships with current accounts.
- Act as a foodservice advisor, advocating for clients to help them achieve their operational goals through tailored foodservice solutions.
- Provide comprehensive education to customers regarding product offerings, pricing structures, and availability.
- Utilize CRM tools to assess and track current opportunities, ensuring account files are accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensure timely collection of customer balances in accordance with company policies.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the order process, such as product shortages.
- Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Manage accounts receivables in line with established guidelines.
- Execute effective route management strategies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Selling Cycle.
- Employ strong negotiation skills and develop effective negotiation strategies.
- Leverage available resources to enhance route growth.
- Deliver impactful presentations to clients.
- Conduct thorough business reviews with customers.
- Stay informed about industry trends through relevant publications and local culinary organizations.
- Exhibit a deep understanding of the foodservice industry and its operations.
- Recognize and address key customer priorities, including sales enhancement, staffing, profitability, and compliance.
- Clearly articulate the features and benefits of GFS Canada Company Inc. products.
- Understand and promote the advantages of GFS Canada Company Inc. branded offerings.
- Explain value-added concepts to clients.
- Perform additional duties as required.
