Strategic Inside Sales Account Executive

We are seeking a seasoned and innovative Inside Sales Account Manager for a remote opportunity. This role involves managing and supporting a designated territory and customer base to achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic engagement in various sales-related activities as directed by the Inside Sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales objectives while effectively advancing sales opportunities and nurturing customer relationships to enhance market presence.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of McGraw-Hill PreK-12 Programs.
- Utilize multiple software applications and platforms proficiently.
- Develop and maintain detailed customer profiles, establish new contacts, and identify customer needs to influence purchasing decisions.
- Engage in targeted outreach via phone and email to build and sustain a robust sales pipeline.
- Create and implement strategic territory plans with organized follow-through.
- Prioritize customer engagement to ensure visibility and promotional activities are aligned with business objectives.
- Deliver compelling product presentations to key accounts and educational stakeholders in a consultative manner.
- Facilitate introductory consultative meetings with current or prospective clients to foster ongoing relationships.
- Craft winning professional proposals for both existing and new accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in education or sales is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook and PowerPoint (basic), Word and Excel (intermediate), and Salesforce CRM.
- Demonstrated ability to organize daily tasks effectively, manage time efficiently, and work independently.
- Prior experience in the educational publishing industry is highly desirable.

Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $70,000 annually, with the final offer depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sales commission plan will be included in the compensation package, along with a comprehensive range of medical and other benefits.
