Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at BOSS Plow in Northern California. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market position of our products in the territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets and grow market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Field Sales Team to cultivate business relationships with key influencers and set strategic direction for sales activities in the territory.
  • Provide regular communication on business trends, opportunities, market situations, competitive position, and accurate business projections and forecasts to senior management.
  • Manage and grow demand with existing customers while driving new project conversions for our products.
  • Expand market position by growing sales volume of our key products.
  • Manage all aspects of our business at the regional and local level.
  • Track sales conversions and targets utilizing CRM software.
  • Provide monthly updates to senior management on sales performance and progress towards targets.
  • Complete monthly activity reports capturing sales updates, wins, challenges, and issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree.
  • 4-5 years of technical sales experience.
  • Course work in management, turf, agronomy, or landscape, irrigation, and landscape design.
  • Strong public speaking and platform skills.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance to sales team and improve sales skills.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in sales management or leadership role.
  • Knowledge of the irrigation and landscape industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
