Role Summary:
The Senior OEM Sales Territory Manager will oversee all sales and promotional activities related to the Laboratory Consumables product line within the designated territory, focusing on both existing and prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage business development and key commercial accounts within the OEM / Production Diagnostics portfolio.
- Establish a collaborative relationship with all business users in the assigned areas.
- Identify customer needs and scope new opportunities for team evaluation.
- Create and present capabilities presentations.
- Oversee key contracts and manage overall customer communications.
- Conduct business reviews (QBR).
- Lead internal cross-functional team meetings to meet commitments made to strategic customers.
- Regularly communicate status and issues to customers.
A Day in the Life:
- Foster strong customer loyalty and partnerships.
- Actively pursue new customers and innovative applications for LPD Products.
- Utilize effective time and territory management skills to maximize customer engagement and drive new business.
- Evaluate and spearhead all new business development opportunities for OEM.
- Manage contract renewals, pricing strategies, and commercial initiatives to achieve growth targets set by leadership.
- Expand product offerings within all assigned accounts as feasible.
- Lead QBR reviews both internally and with customers.
- Provide strategic insights for product and technology roadmaps.
- Serve as the commercial and technical lead for customer interactions prior to full NPD project team assignments.
- Coordinate quotation teams from all LPD manufacturing sites as necessary to prepare proposals.
Other Requirements:
Travel is expected to be approximately 40-50% of the time, including visits to clients, Life Technologies offices, factories, trade shows, and sales meetings.
Educational Qualifications:
BS degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
A minimum of 8 years of sales experience, preferably in a related industry.
Experience Qualifications:
Proven success and experience in matrix organizations.
Ability to work independently with initiative, focus on objectives, and sound business judgment.
Demonstrated capability to sell innovative solutions to high-level customer personnel.
Excellence in both oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Robust technical, business, and financial acumen.
Highly effective negotiation skills.
Advanced computer proficiency.

The estimated salary range for this position is competitive and may include a variable annual bonus based on performance metrics in line with company policy. Our Total Rewards package includes:
