Overview:
The Rental Account Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving rental sales and marketing initiatives at the business unit level. This role is primarily focused on enhancing the commercial rental and trailer services offerings.

The objective is to expand Ryder's rental sales footprint within the business unit, fostering the development of profitable new accounts while ensuring the retention of existing clientele.

The ultimate goal is to achieve significant rental revenue growth, enhance profitability, and improve Return on Assets.

Additionally, this position will contribute to lease conversion targets, acting as a vital link to boost lease sales productivity and performance within the Lease Sales team.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Development:
Generate leads through proactive outreach, including cold calls, customer visits, and telephone solicitation. Utilize product expertise to evaluate customer requirements and formulate tailored proposals. Collaborate with rental operations to guarantee equipment availability.

The Rental Account Sales Manager is also tasked with branch-level marketing and ensuring that rental sales representatives are proficient in telemarketing efforts directed at both prospective and current customers.


Customer Relationship Management:
Maintain ongoing communication with clients through regular visits and phone interactions.

Ensure exceptional service delivery by effectively addressing customer complaints and staying attuned to customer needs and long-term rental agreements.


Administrative Duties:
Manage proposal and contract development, maintain customer records, prepare follow-up correspondence, and coordinate with other business unit departments. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of customer data within the system. Responsibilities also include credit approval processes, receivables collection, and scheduling updates.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience (5 years)
- Minimum of one year of sales experience or equivalent training required
- Preferred: Three years of sales experience and one year of industry experience

Compensation Details:
The offered compensation may vary based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, work location, and market data.
Pay Structure:
Salaried

Minimum Pay Range: $50,000

Maximum Pay Range: $54,000

Additionally, the position may qualify for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on performance.
