Position Overview: This role supports the Branch Manager in achieving all sales targets and branch revenue goals. Responsibilities include monitoring daily sales performance and making necessary adjustments to meet sales objectives while ensuring adherence to all company sales policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive unit sales and revenue growth by implementing, instructing, and enforcing company sales strategies.
- Conduct bi-weekly evening call sessions, daily sales updates, and weekly training meetings.
- Engage in fieldwork with sales associates daily, maintaining minimum sales activity standards.
- Ensure all sales training requirements are fulfilled.
- Enhance the productivity and sales capabilities of sales professionals.
- Assess the utilization of sales tools and methodologies by sales professionals.
- Oversee and ensure the implementation of effective and innovative sales programs, proper use of sales materials, and inventory management of sales resources.
- Exemplify outstanding management practices and uphold a high-quality image.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- 2 or 4-year degree strongly preferred.
- 1-2 years of sales management experience required.
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Capability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Competence in performing basic business mathematics and analyzing sales data.
- Ability to obtain necessary licenses/certifications as mandated by federal, state, or local agencies.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions: The physical demands outlined are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Incumbent must be prepared to:
- Regularly move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift 11-20 pounds, with occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds.
- Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, etc.
- Maintain balance on narrow, slippery, or uneven surfaces.
- Bend and squat as necessary to perform tasks.
- Utilize hands and arms to reach and manipulate objects.
- Communicate effectively with others verbally.
- Operate a motor vehicle and use powered hand tools.
Work Environment: The incumbent will work in both indoor and outdoor environments, subject to varying weather conditions. Exposure to hazardous physical conditions, such as mechanical parts, electrical currents, and chemical substances, may occur.
Compensation: Base pay range: $67,000 - $80,000/year.
Annual Earning Potential: Up to $114,000/year, with opportunities for additional compensation through overtime, incentives, and commissions based on performance and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
