Position Overview: The Sales Director will proactively manage and develop the growth strategy of future program development opportunities for the company. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will plan and direct all aspects of the organization's business development policies, objectives, and initiatives. This position will support the growth objectives for Commercial, Department of Defense and other State, Local and Government entities throughout the United States. The Sales Director will manage the future growth and corporate planning/processes functions. Responsibilities: Administers long-term strategic plans and pipelines for the growth of the organization. Develops and maintains positive relationships with partners and ensures ongoing satisfaction of the partner organization. Assists in the development of strategies/processes for identifying and responding to business development opportunities, which may include internal expansion into new markets or external expansion via partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures. Gathers and analyzes data evaluating new business opportunities or assessing potential markets, to assist executive teams in decision making and planning. Leads cross-functional Teams for Marketing/Business Development, Capture and Proposal development. Prepare reports, or presentations demonstrating the potential value of new business opportunities. Collects information to prepare proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs). Requirements: Bachelor s Degree and at least 15 years of experience working with the Federal Government Proven experience in managing a large pipeline of opportunities and establishing and fostering new partnerships for continued growth Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Proficient in Salesforce and TechnoMile Ability to obtain a clearance Preferred Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of the Government acquisition, business development, capture and proposal concepts and principles. Experience using Cisco. Extensive knowledge of the FAR/CFARS/DFARS and DoD/Army policies Private Equity background preferred Performs complex tasks typically following established processes Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Management and technical skills in the areas of IT, MI, Networking, Cybersecurity, and overseas operations. Physical Demand: Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds occasionally and walk short distances. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading.
