Business Development Coordinator

**Job Summary**
Auro Hotels is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Coordinator to join our team. As a Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute targeted sales plans to achieve business objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and prospects
- Negotiate rates and contracts to maximize revenue
- Practice effective revenue management to include wise negotiation and booking of function space
- Consult with clients to plan details such as number of persons expected, display space desired, and food service schedule
- Notify department heads of arrangements made to ensure high level of service and guest satisfaction
- Inspect rooms and displays for conformance to needs and desires of group
**Requirements:**
- College degree preferred but not required
- 3-5 years hotel sales management/leadership experience for a major hotel chain or management company
- Must speak, read, and understand English
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
