Position Summary:

The Operations Manager directs and coordinates the day-to-day activities for multiple departments in a Distribution Center inclusive of Merchandising in some locations. This position oversees Warehouse, Transportation, 3 rd party distributors, off sight storage facilities, Inventory, etc.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Partner with various departments to ensure timely and accurate loading of all distribution equipment in an efficient and cost-effective manner
  • Partner with various departments to build Weekly/Monthly volume forecast
  • Partner with various departments and with logistics and/or supply chain planning team(s)
  • Manage execution of day-to-day Distribution Center operations within parameters of both labor and other operating expense budgets
  • Assist in the selection, supervision, and development of the Distribution Center team
  • Oversee the Merchandising team in some locations as appropriate
  • Assist in the establishment, analysis of daily/weekly KBI's and submission of annual departmental budgets
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with all other departments in order to achieve goals and provide customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to Company standards and policies in addition to all regulatory requirements
  • Support and implement company initiatives to achieve performance, quality and safety metrics
  • Support the improvement of processes and strive for enhanced levels of efficiency
  • Ensure the safeguard and security of Company assets
  • Ensures teamwork and alignment to guarantee a culture of synergy, engagement and transparency with a world-class company vision
