As the IT Operations Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of specialists focused on identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities within our IT infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and enforcing comprehensive vulnerability management policies and procedures.
- Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of vulnerability metrics to stakeholders.
- Conducting research on emerging vulnerabilities, including Zero Day threats, and evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
- Designing and implementing a robust patch management program that aligns with our security protocols.
- Managing the health and performance of our MECM infrastructure, optimizing software and patch delivery for improved deployment rates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the patch deployment lifecycle, ensuring thorough testing prior to production rollouts.
• Maintain documentation and reports related to patch management to meet audit requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the patch management process.
• Supervise daily operations and provide leadership and guidance to team members as needed.
Essential Functions:
• Ensure the reliability and performance of operating systems and approved software within the organization.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define business requirements and resolve system-related issues.
• Evaluate existing integration capabilities and propose solutions that enhance functionality and efficiency.
• Lead testing and configuration efforts for operating systems and software updates.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patching processes.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices related to Microsoft patch management.
• Ensure the team delivers high-quality work while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and patch management.
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams within a large organization.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and presentations effectively.
