Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team in the assessment and management of vulnerabilities, ensuring timely and effective remediation.

  • Generate and disseminate vulnerability metrics to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities, including Zero Day exploits, to assess their impact on the organization.

  • Manage the infrastructure for patch deployment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Conduct thorough testing of patches prior to deployment to minimize disruption to operations.

Essential Functions:

Ensure the operational integrity of all approved software and operating systems within the organization. Collaborate with senior management to define business requirements and address system-related challenges. Evaluate existing integration capabilities and propose enhancements for improved functionality.

Oversee the testing and configuration of operating systems and software updates, ensuring compliance with best practices. Assess the effectiveness of current patching processes and implement improvements based on continuous feedback.

Lead a team in conducting thorough testing of patches, incorporating user feedback to enhance the patching cycle. Uphold the organization's commitment to risk management and data protection.

Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in patch management technologies, ensuring the team remains knowledgeable and effective. Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks while delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and patching.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams within a large organization.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and presentations using various tools.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
