This role requires in-person work in San Francisco. Applicants must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to San Francisco/Bay area within 8 weeks of hire. We provide a stipend for relocation.

Who are We?

At Assort Health, we're solving the number one reason why patients can't access care—long hold times. It's why the largest healthcare organizations in the US partner with us for our generative AI, specifically built for the healthcare call center.

Assort is led by Jon (Founder of Shimmer YC S21, Chief of Staff at Elemy, 7 publications in healthcare AI, former UCSF med student, Stanford grad in top 3%) and Jeff (former Head of Product Engineering at health tech company valued at 6B Athelas/Commure, first non-founder engineer at Cameo, engineer at Facebook, Duke grad).

We have PMF, paying customers, and a huge pipeline of inbound customers that we plan to onboard this year. We're supported by top-tier institutional lead investors like Quiet Capital, as well as several angels, including the former CMO of Flatiron Health and board director of Athena Health, and the founders of Infinitus, Mercury, Mammoth Biosciences, and PathAI. About the Role:

Join us as our first growth hire and Founding GTM lead. This role is crucial for building and expanding our customer pipeline and quickly achieving revenue targets. We are looking for ambitious, gritty, and fast learners excited to tackle the market and evolve into growth leaders at our company. As our first hire, you'll have a unique opportunity to greatly impact our growth strategy and eventually evolve to lead and manage your own teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop a book of high potential engaged prospects and maintain a sufficient pipeline to support successful attainment against quota
  • Successfully lead a technical sales motion of guiding engineers, product, and growth team members for the entire life-cycle from prospecting to close
  • Work closely with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and how our AI solutions can meet them.
  • Maintain active engagement with key industry players and stakeholders through innovative outreach and networking.
  • Strategize and execute sales plans effectively, using a variety of AI tools and platforms to track progress and results.
  • As our first hire, you'll have a unique opportunity to create a significant impact on our growth strategy and eventually evolve to lead and manage your teams.

What We're Looking For:

  • A proven track record in sales in healthcare sectors.
  • Previous 2-3 years of experience as an Account Executive (AE) or Business Development Representative (BDR) selling to healthcare providers with a strong performance history.
  • Experience in banking, consulting, or athlete background is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, intelligence, and quick-thinking ability in dynamic situations.
  • Highly motivated and mission-driven with a passion for challenging goals.
  • Excellent communication skills and engaging storytelling.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ), with the ability to empathize and view situations from other perspectives.
