About the Role
As a Senior Cloud Operations GTM Specialist, you will be part of the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) within AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue and growth for both small and mid-market accounts as well as enterprise-level customers.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Act as the voice of the customer, collaborating with various teams to relay customer feedback to product development.
- Provide advanced technical insights to your aligned GTM teams, helping to resolve significant business challenges faced by customers.
- Maintain high technical standards for specialist artifacts and documentation.
- Work alongside GTM colleagues to offer technical perspectives that shape GTM strategies and support marketing initiatives.
- Serve as a thought leader by sharing best practices through various channels, including AWS blogs and public speaking events.
- Guide an internal community of technical experts, creating resources to assist the broader Solutions Architect population in integrating new AWS solutions.
A Day in the Life
You will lead the GTM strategy for AWS Cloud Operations, focusing on ISV customers. Your role will involve creating innovative solutions, leveraging partnerships, and developing initiatives that yield results for our clients.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on distributed applications.
- 5+ years of experience managing technical, customer-facing teams.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Operations design, deployment, and management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven history of successful technical consulting and architecture engagements with large-scale enterprises.
- Experience in migrating legacy solutions to the cloud.
- Familiarity with enterprise services and software development methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with executives and technical teams.
- Relevant certifications in AWS Solution Architecture or cloud expertise.
