About the GTM Planning Infrastructure and Solutions Team

We are an innovative team within the GTM Strategy and Operations division, committed to refining and advancing our business methodologies through cutting-edge planning and analytical solutions. We design and oversee foundational models on Anaplan to support essential planning processes, including Territory Carving, Quota Setting, Headcount and Capacity Management, and Demand Planning. Our solutions are vital to Okta's success, acting as a catalyst to enhance the efficiency of our operations team and optimize our planning workflows.

Opportunity for Senior Manager, GTM Planning Infrastructure and Solutions

We are in search of a highly proficient and driven Senior Manager to guide our Planning Infrastructure and Solutions team. This position necessitates a combination of Anaplan expertise along with robust project management and leadership capabilities. The Senior Manager will supervise the creation and upkeep of our Anaplan models, lead a team of model developers, and guarantee the successful implementation of our GTM planning and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of Anaplan model developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Oversee team workflows, ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage and prioritize various projects, aligning with business goals and timelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide consistent project updates. Develop and execute project plans, encompassing timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Anaplan models for Territory Carving, Quota Setting, Headcount and Capacity Management, and Demand Planning. Ensure the technical integrity and scalability of Anaplan solutions.
  • Offer guidance and support to the team, addressing and resolving complex challenges.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Finance, to comprehend business needs and translate them into effective Anaplan solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation within the Anaplan platform.
  • Promote the adoption of Anaplan throughout the organization, highlighting its value and advantages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Anaplan model construction and management, with a preference for experience in SaaS software.
  • A minimum of 3+ years managing end-to-end delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, with a proven record of successfully leading and delivering intricate projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and develop team members.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Anaplan certification and technical proficiency is highly desirable but not mandatory.
