Under general supervision of the Chief Human Resources Officer and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the HR Business Partner (HRBP)- Talent Management functions as a partner to oversee all aspects of Loretto Hospital’s talent acquisition, development, and retention activities. The HRBP- Talent Management is responsible for recruitment and retention, employee and labor relations, training, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement to ensure that the workforce is equipped with the necessary skills and capabilities to drive organizational success. Additionally, the HRBP will oversee Loretto Hospital’s volunteer program.

Extensive knowledge of employment related, federal and state laws and regulations (e.g. FLSA, ADA, EEO, HIPAA, Section 125, ERISA) Proficient with Human Resource Information Systems (e.g. Paycom, Paylocity, ADP).Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficient computer skills (Internet, Meditech, MS Office programs).Excellent written, oral, listening, and interpersonal skills.Must have ability to learn quickly and work in fast-paced environment.Must be able to think logically and critically to make decisions based on the ask.

Education and/or Experience 

Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration or Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years of advanced experience in talent acquisition and management, employee/labor relations, benefit administration experience. Previous experience working in healthcare preferred.PHR or SHRM Certification preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Recent experience with ADP or other similar HRIS platform required. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk and hear, sit, and use hands to finger, handle or feel, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
