Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our team as a Director, HR Business Partner. In this role, you will provide strategic and tactical HR support to our North American Commercial organizations, serving as a key partner to senior leaders and executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted people strategies to engage commercial accounts and drive business results.
- Partner with business and HR leadership to maximize engagement, retention, and performance.
- Collaborate with talent acquisition teams to identify critical staffing requirements and execute recruiting plans.
- Develop and implement HR programs and processes to meet business needs.
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues and provide counsel to leaders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner supporting professional employees and working directly with senior leaders and executives.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
- Experience supporting exempt/professional services employees in the Retail industry (Corporate/HQ).
- An understanding of commercial and retail operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong client engagement skills and a proven track record of building business partnerships.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Sound judgment, resourcefulness, and a strong foundation in all aspects of Human Resources.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
- Experience with UKG (preferred).

Location
This role can be located in the New York or Chicago area, with the option to work remotely.
