HR Business Partner Manager

The HR Business Partner Manager at Outform, Inc. will act as a strategic ally for essential operational sectors, facilitating and implementing HR solutions tailored to the business's needs. This role will oversee a dedicated team of HR Business Partners and play a crucial role in establishing a robust HR Business Partner function that can shape organizational culture, enhance leadership effectiveness, and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop collaborative relationships with leaders across various functional areas, offering strategic counsel and practical support on personnel matters.
- Lead a team of HR Business Partners, exemplifying strategic HRBP behaviors and assisting with intricate personnel issues.
- Guide managers in performance management, employee development, succession planning, retention strategies, engagement initiatives, and career progression.
- Proactively collaborate with client groups to foresee challenges and propose effective solutions to support business expansion.
- Facilitate the performance management cycle, including setting objectives, conducting evaluations, and crafting development plans.
- Advocate for team members by promoting feedback mechanisms with management and the executive team, both formally and informally.
- Coach managers on delivering constructive feedback and nurturing a high-performance culture.
- Encourage practices that support the retention of high-potential and key talent.
- Provide guidance on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance challenges.
- Work alongside the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to devise recruitment strategies and compensation practices.
- Conduct investigations and manage complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Assist the broader HR team in developing, implementing, and communicating HR policies, programs, and procedures.
- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, fostering a strong organizational culture, and contributing to core HR process improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a strategic HR Business Partner; experience in private equity or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in managing HRBPs or HR team members is desirable.
- Thorough understanding of local labor laws and regulations across multiple states.
- Proven track record in developing and executing HR strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective relationships at all organizational levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage HR data and metrics for insights and decision-making.
- Adept at thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach, demonstrating both strategic thinking and tactical execution.
- Possession of professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, CIPD) is preferred.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as UKG is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
