       About this Role

As the HRBP for United States, you have the full responsibility of all HR activities and operations of the country with the additional opportunity to support Global HR processes. We are looking for an experienced HRBP, who has a passion for people and for creating an engaged and happy workforce. We are looking for someone who is data driven, strives for continuous improvement and people development. You’ll be part of a global team of HR experts who will share their experiences and collaborate on making the HR discipline a center of excellence. This position will report into the Global HR Head.  

       What you will do

  • Responsible to effectively plan and implement the HR Strategy for US
  • Periodically review organization structure for consistency with company's strategy and efficacy of outputs
  • Manage end to end recruitment process actively involving in sourcing applications, selection process, coordinating the interview process and also onboarding process of new hires
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers, leading them through the relevant people management processes (e.g. performance management, succession planning, and talent development)
  • Guide managers on compensation programs, salary review processes, incentive plans, position gradings and promotions
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Identify training needs for the unit and work closely with leaders to execute the training
  • Drive certain global processes for the wider Agoro company.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, culture, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation as and when required
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements as well as with Yara HR processes and policies
  • Actively engage and support the operational tasks for the location
  • Periodically evaluate the various benefits provided are aligned with the market standards

 
       What you will bring

  • Bachelors/ Masters in Business Administration, HR, psychology or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in HR Business partner roles working in US. Added advantage if you have start up experience.
  • Good understanding of the US labour laws and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, diversity, performance management and relevant employment laws. 
  • Forward-thinking and analytical with business understanding and influencing skills
  • Dynamic collaborator with integrity and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in and with diverse teams, and cross borders
  • Self-driven, structured and detail oriented
  • Fluent in English
  • Preference is for candidates based in Chicago, Central or Eastern.
