About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our Climate Pledge Friendly team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for expanding our selection of sustainable products through strategic partnerships with leading brands.

Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining relationships with our selling partners, identifying new opportunities, and negotiating agreements to drive business growth. You will also be responsible for developing and executing business plans, analyzing market trends, and providing insights to inform our sustainability strategy.

As a Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to drive innovation and growth. You will also be responsible for communicating with key stakeholders, including executives, sales teams, and product managers, to ensure alignment and progress towards our sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with selling partners to drive business growth and expand our selection of sustainable products
  • Identifying new opportunities and negotiating agreements to drive business growth
  • Developing and executing business plans to drive innovation and growth
  • Analyzing market trends and providing insights to inform our sustainability strategy
  • Communicating with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress towards our sustainability goals

Requirements
  • 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
  • 3+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in setting up and managing a sales pipeline
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $159,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
