About the Role

Fotona is seeking a highly motivated and competitive Area Sales Manager to aggressively prospect and develop new Dental customers in our South Florida Territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Strong Customer Relationships: Demonstrate professionalism and establish a strong sense of trust among Fotona's growing customer base.
  • Manage High-Volume Cold Calls: Manage high-volume cold calls to dental practices to identify decision-makers and evaluate buying processes.
  • Identify Business Needs and Goals: Determine prospects' business needs and goals to identify solutions and perform basic product demonstrations at regional events and tradeshows.
  • Build Strong Networks: Build strong networks within the organization, the defined territory, and the dental industry to collect, record, and diligently track all prospects, leads, and activities using CRM.
  • Manage Warm Marketing Lists: Manage warm marketing lists to uncover qualified sales opportunities and study frequently to remain knowledgeable on products and services offered by Fotona, LLC.
  • Represent Fotona with Integrity: Demonstrate consistently strong communication skills and organizational skills to represent Fotona with integrity and professionalism.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 Years Experience: Minimum 2-3 years experience in outbound business-to-business sales experience preferred.
  • Dental Sales Experience: Dental Sales, Capital Equipment and/or Durable Medical Equipment Sales experience is preferred.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent phone, email, and in-person sales and communication skills.
  • Basic Office Suite and Computer Skills: Basic Office Suite and computer/internet skills for efficient documentation, communication, and research.
  • Salesforce or Similar CRM Experience: Salesforce or similar CRM experience is a plus.
  • Reliable Work Ethic: Reliable, strong work ethic and ability to work independently to produce results.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to Drive and Travel: Ability to drive within the territory daily and travel overnight (30% on average) within the territory and outside of the territory for attendance at national trade shows, trainings, and other events.
  • Ability to Work Flexible Hours: Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally, ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs. occasionally, ability to push/pull very heavy equipment on wheels/casters occasionally.
Compensation
  • Competitive Salary and Commissions: Competitive salary based on experience and track record, plus uncapped commissions.
