Position Overview:

The Branch Sales Manager (BSM) is tasked with implementing sales strategies aimed at enhancing CC's business within both new and existing customer locations, particularly focusing on the manufacturing industry.

The BSM will be responsible for marketing CC's parts washer and environmental services to small to medium-sized industrial and automotive repair facilities. A continuous increase in branch sales will be crucial for success in this role.

The BSM will receive a vehicle allowance and is expected to utilize their personal vehicle for work-related travel.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and engage in safe work practices in alignment with CC's safety protocols.
  • Manage customer service and pursue new business opportunities within a designated geographic area.
  • Identify additional service opportunities with current clients.
  • Evaluate potential customer requirements, present CC's offerings, and cultivate new client relationships.
  • Assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Branch Manager as necessary.
  • Conduct field tests and proper sampling of various waste streams at client locations.
  • Generate sales leads for Data-Marketing initiatives.
  • Assist CC field sales representatives with new customer account activities.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Meet sales targets for overall revenue and new customer acquisition.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and standards, including environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Core Competencies and Skills:

Strong communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail are essential. The candidate must effectively interact with customers, sales branch personnel, and various corporate departments. Proficiency in operating electronic devices, computers, and office equipment is required, along with the capability to handle equipment such as hoses and pumps.


Experience Requirements:

Prior sales experience is mandatory, with a preference for those with experience in hazardous waste management sales. Industrial sales experience is also advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) is necessary.


Educational and Licensing Requirements:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. The ability to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Medical Card with HAZMAT and Airbrake Endorsements is preferred. Candidates should also be able to secure TWIC/rapid gate/port access.

Applicants must possess a motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets or exceeds CC's established standards, which include, but are not limited to, seat belt and cell phone violations, excessive speeding, DUI, suspension, and/or multiple vehicle collisions. A background check in accordance with local laws and regulations is mandatory.

All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment physical examination, including drug and alcohol screening.
