Position Summary:
The Branch Sales Manager (BSM) is tasked with implementing effective sales strategies aimed at enhancing CC's market presence among both new and existing clientele, particularly within the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in and advocate for safe work practices in alignment with CC's safety protocols.
  • Oversee customer service and pursue new business opportunities within a designated geographic area.
  • Identify additional service opportunities with current accounts.
  • Evaluate potential customer requirements, present CC's offerings, and cultivate new client relationships.
  • Assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Branch Manager as necessary.
  • Conduct field tests and accurately sample various waste streams at client locations.
  • Generate sales leads for Data-Marketing initiatives.
  • Support CC field sales representatives in their efforts to secure new accounts.
  • Complete all necessary documentation with precision and clarity.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Meet sales targets for overall revenue and new customer acquisition.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and standards, including environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Core Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Adept at interacting with customers, branch personnel, and various corporate departments.
  • Proficient in operating electronic devices, computers, and office equipment.
  • Skilled in using equipment such as hoses, pumps, and truck apparatus.
  • Ability to drive sales growth across all business lines.

Qualifications:

  • Prior sales experience is essential (experience in HCC sales is advantageous).
  • Experience in industrial sales is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access) is required.

Education and Certifications:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Medical Card with HAZMAT and Airbrake Endorsements is preferred.
  • Ability to secure TWIC/rapid gate/port pass is preferred.
  • Must maintain a motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets CC's standards.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local regulations.

All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol screening.
