Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Bilingual Contact Center Specialist to join our dynamic team at TwinStar Credit Union. This role is essential in establishing and nurturing professional relationships with our members, ensuring their financial needs are met with exceptional service.

Part-Time Regular, Non-Exempt

Compensation:
The hourly pay rate is $29.59, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional compensation incentives may be available based on role-specific targets.

Bilingual Differential:
We offer a differential for employees proficient in a second language, with current approved languages including Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Tagalog. Proficiency will be assessed through a standardized verbal evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a warm welcome to members calling the credit union, ensuring a courteous and professional interaction.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding account statements, share withdrawals, and loan payoffs, including calculating interest rates for loan settlements.
  • Promote and sell loan programs and services tailored to meet the financial needs of our members.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all credit union products and services through ongoing training and participation in learning opportunities.
  • Process various transactions for members, including withdrawals, loan payments, and money transfers, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Adhere to the Member Identification Program (MIP) as per the credit union's compliance procedures, ensuring the confidentiality of member information.
  • Assist members with various account services and resolve any issues they may encounter.
  • Actively engage in Sales and Marketing initiatives by educating members on product features and benefits.
  • Strive to meet or exceed production and referral goals set by management.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience preferred.
  • Associate's Degree and 7+ months of related experience are advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of relevant banking regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle member inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Proficient in using credit union services and technology.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
