Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient scheduling through electronic health record systems, oversee payment processing, and perform various administrative functions.
  • Engage with patients in a friendly manner, both in person and via phone, to ensure a positive experience.
  • Assist therapists by documenting sessions and gaining insights into assessment and treatment strategies.
  • Help prepare treatment areas and ensure patient comfort during therapy sessions.
  • Utilize medical terminology proficiently and assist with billing and insurance processes.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a healthcare or dental office environment is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Understanding of medical insurance protocols and payment collection practices.
  • Proficient in computer applications and electronic health records.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with rehabilitation concepts and practices.
  • Experience in verifying insurance benefits and obtaining authorizations.
  • A positive demeanor and the ability to foster a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
