Position Overview:
The Human Resources Representative plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative and HR support within our manufacturing facilities. This position emphasizes effective recruitment, onboarding, and management of leaves of absence, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer various HR functions, including performance evaluations, job postings, and the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Source and evaluate candidates for various positions, fostering relationships with community organizations to enhance our Affirmative Action initiatives.
  • Organize and facilitate orientation sessions for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Monitor and track employee training progress, ensuring compliance with training requirements.
  • Analyze employee turnover rates and implement strategies to enhance retention.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the Human Resources Management System.
  • Coordinate FMLA processes and serve as a primary contact for disability-related leaves.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage unemployment claims.
  • Uphold company policies and share insights that contribute to team improvement and service delivery.
  • Promote PCA's commitment to exceptional service by aligning HR practices with our core values.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or two years of relevant HR experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with both management and staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a solid understanding of HR principles.
  • Willingness to travel as required and possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Ability to work remotely when not on-site.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two to four years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on employee relations and recruitment.
  • Familiarity with HRIS software and Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action practices.
  • Experience managing HR functions across multiple sites.
Compensation:
Salary range: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00
