Role Summary:

The HR Solutions Specialist serves as the primary contact for employees regarding human resources policies and procedures. This role encompasses managing the daily HR needs of various business units and overseeing the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and issues.
  • Oversee the daily human resource operations within assigned business units.
  • Facilitate the employee lifecycle, including conducting orientations and managing the termination process.
  • Implement best practices to support the firm’s people strategy and collaborate with the broader HR team to enhance Baker Tilly's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Analyze workforce data, including turnover rates and exit survey feedback.
  • Assist with special projects related to employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, tracking new hires, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Serve as the main liaison to HR Business Partners, sharing data trends and supporting retention strategies.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage the voluntary offboarding process.
  • Commit to personal growth and development through continuous education and training opportunities.
  • Occasionally lead training sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Two to three years of HR experience, preferably in a professional services environment or a medium to large organization.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and influence others in a matrixed environment.
  • Dedication to providing excellent client service with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $50,780 to $110,030, influenced by various factors including skills, experience, and geographic location.
