Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and concerns.
  • Manage daily HR operations for designated business units.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Implement best practices to support the firm's people strategy and collaborate with the HR team to enhance Baker Tilly's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Analyze HR data, including turnover rates and exit survey feedback.
  • Assist with special projects related to employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, tracking new hires, and engagement surveys.
  • Serve as the main liaison to HR Business Partners, sharing data trends and supporting retention initiatives.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage the voluntary offboarding process.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to personal growth and skill development through training and educational opportunities.
  • Facilitate training sessions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Two to three years of HR experience, preferably in a professional services environment or a medium to large organization.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence in a matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional client service orientation and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong coaching and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compensation:
The compensation range for this role is $50,780 to $110,030, influenced by various factors including skills, experience, and geographic location.
