Our client is currently looking for an HR Generalist who will be responsible for performing daily HR-related functions on a professional level including hiring and interviewing staff, performance management, compensation planning, employee relations, onboarding, and implementing company policies and practices.


Flexibility to work a hybrid work week - 3 days in office, 2 days remote


Responsibilities:

  • Interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Facilitate new hire training and assimilation with hiring managers.
  • Responsible for building and facilitating monthly HR Operations scorecard, including analysis of data and presentation to leadership.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Build great relationships with business leaders and managers to enable coaching and mentoring.
  • Influence business decisions and workforce planning based on analyzing employee data and workload.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the system as needed.
  • May serve as participant in HR strategic initiatives aligned to HR function’s annual book of work.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment required.

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen attentively, communicate and collaborate effectively throughout all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on visual presentation of data
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of HCM software (e.g., ADP, Workday)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
