Position Overview

As a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer at H&T Recharge, you will be pivotal in ensuring that our industrial systems function with peak efficiency, reliability, and accuracy. Your role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including the design, development, and testing of electrical systems. Your proficiency in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming and systems integration is vital for the successful implementation of control strategies and the resolution of intricate system challenges. By proactively addressing and resolving technical issues, you will contribute to seamless production operations, reinforcing our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Systems Design and Development: You will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of electrical systems tailored for industrial applications, ensuring effective integration with control hardware and low voltage systems, which will enhance overall machinery performance.

PLC Programming and Automation: You will take the lead in designing and executing PLC Ladder Logic using Siemens software, optimizing both hardware and software to achieve precise process control. Your efforts in developing automation systems will drive efficiency, boost productivity, and lower operational costs.

Technical Documentation and Integration: You will interpret and analyze electrical and mechanical design documents, including P&ID drawings and specifications, to ensure accurate implementation. Your understanding of mechanical systems will aid in the effective integration of electrical components, reducing the likelihood of errors.

Troubleshooting and Equipment Maintenance: Utilizing your strong problem-solving abilities, you will troubleshoot and maintain production equipment, swiftly identifying and rectifying defects to ensure sustained operational efficiency.

Collaboration and Customer Support: With a focus on customer service, you will provide support to internal teams and foster a collaborative atmosphere. Your capacity to work independently and as part of a team will be essential for project success.

Self-Driven and Communicative: As a motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills, you will enhance team dynamics and be prepared to work beyond standard business hours when necessary.

Project Coordination: You will ensure effective communication throughout project execution, coordinating information among teams and vendors to facilitate smooth project delivery.

Staying Current with Industry Trends: By keeping abreast of industry advancements, you will propose architectural and technological enhancements, improving system capabilities and maintaining a competitive advantage.

Data Management: You will oversee Structured Query Language (SQL) server databases and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software, ensuring operational optimization and data integrity, leading to reliable data management and streamlined processes.

Standards and Documentation Development: You will establish departmental standards, create operational procedures for automation systems, and develop comprehensive engineering documentation, promoting consistent practices and improved knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of experience in a PLC programming role, particularly with Siemens software. You will demonstrate a high level of integrity, confidentiality, organization, and time management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as EPlan and AutoCAD Electrical, is essential. Additionally, you should possess expertise in PLC programming and integration with instrumentation, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Servo Drives, and Kuka robots.
