The Production Oversight Manager is tasked with supervising production operations, ensuring that performance objectives are achieved, executing manufacturing strategies, and fostering ongoing enhancements in production effectiveness. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, aligning leadership with fundamental principles, and mentoring team members towards excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production lines to maximize output and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead a team of over 100 employees in a high-volume, automated manufacturing setting.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to assess and fulfill business requirements.
- Possess a solid background in a similar managerial role, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
- Exhibit foundational knowledge of machine controls and instrumentation.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, including the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, including Lean Six Sigma methodologies, ERP systems, and 5S practices.
- Influence organizational change without direct authority.
- Maintain proficiency in the English language, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking.
- Utilize MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) effectively.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Manage indirect reports and foster a collaborative work environment.
