Position Overview

As a Senior Electrical Control Systems Specialist at H&T Recharge, you will be pivotal in ensuring that our industrial equipment functions at peak performance, reliability, and accuracy. Your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including the design, development, and evaluation of electrical systems. Your proficiency in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming and control systems integration is vital for executing control algorithms and diagnosing intricate systems. By proactively addressing and resolving challenges, you will maintain seamless production operations, reinforcing our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Systems Design and Development: You will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for industrial machinery, ensuring effective integration with control hardware and low voltage systems. This will enhance the efficiency and reliability of our machinery.

PLC Programming and Automation: You will independently create and implement PLC Ladder Logic using Siemens software, optimizing both hardware and software for accurate process control. Your development of automation systems and tools will lead to improved efficiency, increased productivity, and cost reductions.

Technical Documentation and Integration: You will interpret electrical and mechanical design documents, including P&ID drawings and specifications, ensuring precise implementation. Your mechanical expertise will aid in the integration of electrical components with mechanical systems, reducing the likelihood of errors.

Troubleshooting and Equipment Maintenance: Utilizing your strong problem-solving abilities, you will troubleshoot and maintain production equipment, swiftly identifying defects to ensure ongoing efficiency.

Collaboration and Customer Support: With a focus on customer service, you will support internal stakeholders and promote a collaborative atmosphere. Your capability to work autonomously and as part of a team will be essential for project success.

Self-Driven and Communicative: As a proactive individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, you will enhance team dynamics and be open to working outside standard business hours.

Project Coordination: You will facilitate clear communication throughout project execution, ensuring the smooth flow of information among teams and vendors, which is crucial for successful project delivery.

Staying Current with Industry Trends: By keeping abreast of industry advancements, you will recommend architectural and technological enhancements, improving system capabilities and sustaining a competitive advantage.

Data Management: You will oversee Structured Query Language (SQL) server databases and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software, optimizing operations and ensuring data integrity, which leads to reliable data management and streamlined processes.

Standards and Documentation Development: You will establish departmental standards, create operational procedures for automation systems, and develop comprehensive engineering documentation, fostering consistent practices and enhanced knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

You should possess a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science engineering, computer engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a PLC programming role, particularly with Siemens software. A high level of integrity, confidentiality, organization, and time management is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as EPlan and AutoCAD Electrical, is required. Additionally, you should be skilled in PLC programming and integration with instrumentation, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Servo Drives, and Kuka robots.
