The National Process Engineer plays a crucial role in mentoring, enhancing, and standardizing methodologies for injection molding process development and troubleshooting to elevate efficiency, improve product quality, and minimize operational expenses.

  • Implement Processing Best Practices:
  • Manage standard cycle times and promote cycle standardization.
  • Optimize standard cycles for sustainable efficiency.
  • Oversee and enhance robot demolding times.
  • Establish energy efficiency standards for processing.
  • Collaborate with National Support Teams:
  • Work alongside National Quality to ensure Process-Driven Quality Assurance.
  • Collaborate with National Reliability to utilize process outputs for asset condition monitoring.
  • Promote the use of recycled materials.
  • Support New Product and Material Launch:
  • Oversee the manufacturability assessment of new products, materials, and processes.
  • Provide insights for mold builds considering processing factors.
  • Facilitate experimental trials for new materials.
  • Assist in new product launches with process expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in injection molding processing.
  • Familiarity with Kraus Maffei Injection Molding Machines is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in drafting written work instructions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause analysis.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and data-driven.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
