Overview

As a Facilities Management Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational systems within the facility. Your role will encompass the supervision of essential building management systems, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.

Primary Duties:
  • Operate and oversee SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for the facility's management.
  • Manage electrical supply and distribution, ensuring both efficiency and safety.
  • Supervise water systems, including their monitoring and maintenance.
  • Oversee chemical supply and processing, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage air handling systems to maintain optimal performance.
  • Supervise wastewater treatment operations, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Oversee HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems to ensure proper maintenance and operation.
  • Respond to emergencies on-site, coordinating with relevant teams and authorities.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Lead a team of technicians, offering guidance and support as necessary.
  • Compile and present daily reports on operational issues to management.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

To maintain a safe working environment, wearing PPE may be required, including items such as NFPA Cal Suits, Hi-Viz Uniforms, safety boots, gloves, safety glasses, and respirators.


Qualifications:
Education Requirements:
Associates degree in project management, trade school certification, or equivalent experience.
Essential Qualifications:
OSHA 10 certification, valid State Driver License, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management or facilities operations.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure is crucial.
Preferred Qualifications:
Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) Trainer certification and experience in the manufacturing sector are highly desirable.
Familiarity with industrial building systems is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
Physical Demands:

The role requires a combination of sitting, walking, and standing throughout the workday, with occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.
