Position Overview:
This role involves the implementation of a project-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan focused on Mechanical and Electrical systems. Responsibilities encompass planning, monitoring, documenting, and reporting compliance with contract specifications as per the project-specific QA/QC Plan.

Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager, Project Manager, or Project Executive.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop a thorough understanding of contract documents, including plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
2. Create and execute the project-specific MEP QA/QC Plan, detailing scopes of work and procedures.
3. Formulate engineering procedures in the mechanical and electrical domains, including document control and submissions management.
4. Ensure the MEP QA/QC Plan aligns with the project safety plan.
5. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure compliance with the MEP QA/QC Plan.
6. Coordinate Quality Control procedures in line with the project execution plan and schedule.
7. Continuously enhance strategies for documenting and tracking compliance with contract documents.
8. Engage all project staff, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants in executing the MEP QA/QC Plan.
9. Conduct inspections and testing, coordinating third-party evaluations as necessary.
10. Oversee the development of Daily Construction Reports (DCRs) and punch lists.
11. Direct the removal and replacement of non-compliant materials, ensuring documentation of compliance post-correction.
12. Research and apply additional Quality Control and Lean procedures to improve project delivery quality.
13. Supervise project close-out and quality reporting.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in quality control for mechanical and electrical systems, or an equivalent combination of education and construction experience that integrates engineering responsibilities with mechanical and electrical systems.
Proficiency in the construction process, materials, installation procedures, and tolerances is essential. Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with project management software are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role require the ability to sit, use hands for manipulation, reach, talk, and hear. Frequent standing and walking are necessary, along with occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds is required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
The role involves working on-site at construction locations, exposing the employee to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, airborne particles, and electrical hazards. Noise levels in these environments can range from moderate to very loud.
